Coach

Every institution team is guided by an academic coach who supports methodology, coherence and delivery ahead of Day J.

Role & mission

What does a coach do?

Coaches are academic staff or senior researchers assigned to one institution team. They do not design the institution themselves — they guide the organizing and participant students toward a coherent, well-argued proposal.

Methodological guidance

Coaches steer teams through the charrette method — framing the problem, structuring the argument, and preparing the live demonstration.

Team coordination

Coaches coordinate between organizing and participant students within their team, ensuring balanced workload and clear roles.

Quality & coherence check

Coaches liaise with the Scientific Committee to make sure each team's proposal is academically sound before Day J.

Team assignment

Each coach is matched to one of the 7 institution teams shortly after the registration deadline.

J-60 framing seminar

Coaches co-lead the framing seminar module dedicated to their institution alongside the Sci-Com experts.

Preparation sessions

Regular check-ins (in-person or remote) between the coach and their team from October to November 2026.

Dry run & feedback

Coaches attend the J-30 dry run and provide final feedback ahead of the official Day J window.

Day J — support role

On December 2026, coaches remain available for their team but do not participate directly in the counted demonstration.

Quadruple-lock counting

Each counted participant validated through 4 simultaneous methods: scanned badge, digital platform trace, signed paper register, and continuous uninterrupted video — the official GWR homologation standard.

Closed-zone perimeter

The official 180-minute window requires a sealed closed zone. No re-entry permitted without marshal clearance. All participants must be physically present and traceable for the entire duration.

On-site GWR adjudicator

A certified Guinness World Records adjudicator must be physically present on Day J to open the official window, monitor counting procedures and issue the homologation certificate.

Pre-approval of the title

The bespoke title "Largest AI-powered Finance Workshop" must be formally approved by GWR Management before Day J. No title change is permitted within 30 days of the event.

21 members, three per institution, chaired under the University of Carthage. The Sci-Com guarantees academic quality and methodological coherence throughout the process.

Apolitical charter

Every participant signs a neutrality charter on registration. No political colouring; student proposals do not bind any state or government. The event is strictly academic.

AI — Traceable, never decisive

AI acts as a coherence detector only, flagging contradictions. It never decides. The "AI-powered" label requires full traceability and human final authority at every step.

Eligibility — Bachelor to PhD

Open to Bachelor, Master and PhD students from all nationalities. Centre of gravity at Master level. Each of the 7 teams must include multiple nationalities. The 50/25/25 key is binding.

Co-architects, not judges

No participant votes on the institution they personally designed. Every team is author of one beam and ratifier of the other six — the architecture of impartiality.

Certification & publication

Each counted participant receives an official certificate co-signed by UCAR. The Humanity Impact compact is published symbolically after the record window, not during.

Overview of the FfD agenda from the UN Charter (1945) to the Seville Commitment (FfD4, 2025). Identifying the missing institutional components.

Institutional architecture methodology

The charrette method — how to design, demonstrate and ratify an institution in a structured, evidence-based process. Roles of authors vs. ratifiers.

The 7 institutions deep-dive

Each team receives a detailed brief on their assigned institution — mandate, interfaces with the other six, key design decisions to resolve.

AI-assisted governance: tools and ethics

How the AI coherence detector works, how to interpret its flags, and the ethical framework ensuring human primacy in every decision.

GWR counting rules and participant obligations

Quadruple-lock counting methodology, closed-zone rules, code of conduct and neutrality charter briefing.

Day J simulation — dry run

Full rehearsal of the 7-beam ratification cycle. Teams present, demonstrate and receive feedback before the official record window.
